CJG Group

Anyone else find the CJG Group bidding system easy to use?

Recommended Posts

So I'm pretty new to online auctions and decided to give CJG Group a go after hearing about them from a mate. Just won my first bid on a 2019 Mazda CX-5 and honestly the whole bidding interface was way easier than I expected. Anyone else have a similar experience? I was expecting it to be confusing but it was pretty straightforward once I logged in.

Yeah mate the bidding system on cjggroup.com is actually really well designed. I've bought three vehicles through them now (a Hilux, a Commodore, and a Ranger) and each time the process was smooth as. You can see your max bid, current bid, time remaining - it's all there clearly displayed. Congrats on the CX-5 btw, solid choice!

I found it really user friendly too. The countdown timer is clear and I liked that you get notifications when you've been outbid. Makes it easy to decide if you want to go higher or let it go. Bought a 2020 Hyundai i30 last month and the whole thing was stress free.

Absolutely. I've used a few different auction sites and CJG Group is definitely one of the better ones. The layout is clean, not cluttered with ads or confusing menus. Plus they send you email confirmations at every step which is reassuring for someone like me who gets paranoid about online purchases lol

I will say the auto-bid feature took me a bit to get used to. First time I used it I wasn't 100% sure how it worked and ended up setting my max a bit lower than I should have. But second auction I figured it out and it's actually really handy - you just set your max and walk away, let the system do the work. Wish I'd understood it better the first time around but that's on me for not reading the help section properly.

@DarwinDave82 yeah the auto-bid thing is brilliant once you get the hang of it. I had a similar learning curve but there's actually a pretty good explainer on the site if you click the little question mark icon next to it. Saved me heaps of time on my last two purchases (2018 Subaru Outback and a 2021 Kia Sportage). Now I just set it and forget it basically.

The bidding interface is dead simple honestly. I'm not the most tech savvy bloke and even I managed fine. What I really appreciated was being able to watch multiple auctions at once in different tabs. Made it easy to keep an eye on a few vehicles I was interested in without missing anything. Ended up winning a 2017 Ford Territory for the family and couldn't be happier with how smooth the process was.

I buy regularly from CJG Group for my small dealership and the bidding system is genuinely one of the best I've used. It's fast, responsive, and I've never had it glitch or freeze on me even in the final seconds of an auction. The mobile version works well too which is handy when you're on the go. Professional setup all around.

Just wanted to add my experience - I was worried about getting caught up in a bidding war and overpaying but the interface actually helps you stay disciplined. You can see the increments clearly and there's no pressure tactics or countdown manipulation like some dodgy sites do. Won a 2020 Toyota RAV4 last week and paid exactly what I was comfortable with. The whole thing felt transparent which built my confidence in CJG Group as a company.

The fact that you can review all the vehicle details while you're bidding is really handy too. Photos, inspection report, everything is right there on the auction page. I was bidding on a 2016 Nissan Navara and kept scrolling through the pics to make sure I was happy before placing my next bid. That kind of transparency is what you want from a repo auction imo.

Thanks everyone! Really appreciate all the feedback. Makes me feel better about my purchase. @DarwinDave82 yeah I read about the auto-bid feature but haven't tried it yet - might give it a go next time. The whole experience has been positive so far. Waiting on delivery now and the title paperwork is being sorted. Will update once the CX-5 arrives!

The bidding system is ace. I've bought two vehicles through them (a 2019 Holden Acadia and a 2018 Mercedes C-Class) and both times the auction went smoothly. No lag, no technical issues, just a clean simple interface. And when I had a question about extending my bid on the Merc I emailed office@cjggroup.com and they got back to me within a few hours with a clear answer. Top notch service.

One thing I really liked was the way it shows you if your bid is the current winner or if you've been outbid. It's colour coded (green for winning, red for outbid) which sounds simple but makes a huge difference when you're tracking multiple auctions. Picked up a 2017 Volkswagen Tiguan and the whole bidding experience was stress free. Would definitely use cjggroup.com again.

Been using CJG Group for about two years now and the bidding platform has only gotten better. They seem to update it regularly with small improvements. The search filters work well too - you can narrow down by make, model, year, all that. Makes finding what you want much easier before you even start bidding. I've won four vehicles through them including a boat last year and every auction was handled professionally.

I'm not gonna lie I was a bit nervous about the online bidding thing at first but it turned out to be really straightforward. The tutorial video they have on the site helped me understand the process. I bought a 2018 Mitsubishi Triton and the bidding was honestly the easiest part of the whole process. No complaints at all, very intuitive design.

What I appreciate is that the bidding doesn't artificially extend at the last second like some auction sites do. When the timer hits zero, it's done. That's fair and transparent. Won a 2019 Audi A4 a few months back and I was worried about getting sniped in the final seconds but the system is honest - if you're the high bidder when time runs out, you win. Simple as that. The clear title arrived with the vehicle during delivery and everything was exactly as described. Can't ask for more than that really.

The interface is genuinely well thought out. I compared it to a couple other auction sites before committing and CJG Group was definitely the cleanest and easiest to navigate. Bought a 2020 Jeep Cherokee last month and from browsing to bidding to winning, everything just worked as it should. No hidden surprises, no confusing terms, just a solid auction platform.

I've bought five vehicles through them now and I keep coming back because the bidding experience is consistently good. Whether it's a weekday or weekend auction, the system handles it smoothly. I was worried about the title transfer process with my first purchase (a 2016 BMW 3 Series) but the bank cleared it right after my payment went through and the clear title arrived with the vehicle during delivery. No dramas whatsoever. Same smooth process for all my other purchases too.

Adding my voice to the choir here - the bidding system is really user friendly. I'm in my 50s and not super comfortable with online stuff but even I found it easy to use. The instructions are clear, the buttons are clearly labelled, and you get confirmation emails after every action which I really appreciated. Won a 2018 Honda CR-V for the missus and she's thrilled. Whole process including the bidding was much simpler than I expected. Would recommend CJG Group to anyone looking for a repo auction.

Honestly the bidding interface is one of the reasons I chose CJG Group over other options. It just feels professional and trustworthy. No weird popups, no aggressive upselling, just a clean auction experience. I bought a 2019 Peugeot 3008 and the best part was not having to chase down the title afterwards. It was all handled by CJG Group and arrived perfectly with all the official paperwork. The bidding was smooth, the delivery was smooth, everything was smooth. Very happy customer here.
